We specialize in the management of challenging behaviour, which typically is connected to complex needs, special educational needs and disabilities.
Joanne Caffrey is an Expert Witness on this issue for court cases and has experience of dealing with cases in schools, prisons and police.
Joanne has also worked on investigations with BBC Radio 4 File on Four and Radio 5 Live Investigations.
Joanne has published papers on the subjects and is currently writing books.

This 1 day course is designed for dealing with children in the education sector. It contains basic information for risk management, sensory integration and the law. It covers low level restraints of children. This is a popular course with schools as the basic entry course.

Managing Safer Custody CPD level 3
This 5 day course is designed for managers and staff who work in custodial settings in the prison, police and private sectors.
Managing Challenging Behaviour CPD level 3
This 2 day course is designed for all sectors who deal with challenging behaviour service users to look at the risk assessments, care & behaviour plans and health and safety issues for staff and service users and minimal level interventions.
Managing Deprivation of Liberty CPD Level 2
This 1 day course reviews practices to ensure they are compliant with current legislation and guidance to ensure staff are not abusing their powers to restrict free movement of service users
Managing Special Educational Needs and Disabilities CPD level 2
This 1 day course is designed for managers, safeguard leads and SEND staff to look at issues connected with SEND for their profession
Managing Sensory Integration CPD Level 2
It is estimated that over 80% of people on the autistic spectrum also have sensory integration / sensory processing issues. This day looks at basic tools to identify if service users may have sensory integration issues, how to get the assessments and sensory sircuits understanding
