Joanne is an Expert Witness for the management of challenging behavior and violence. She currently works with over 200 schools concerning challenging behavior with children.
She has received national awards and commendations for her work in this field, particularly her design of a new training course for preventing deaths in police custody from restraint, suicide or underlying medical conditions. This is now a national package. She has worked at regional and national advisory level.
